Card # i how-to: Fold pink paper to create card. Trim the three
open edges with pinking shears. Cut a piece of white paper
the same size as the front of pink card. Cut strips of blue and
green paper in varying widths. Glue them in random order on
the white paper to create a stripe pattern. Trim the striped
paper on all sides to slightly smaller than the pink card and
glue to front of pink card. Punch a heart shape from red paper,
spread evenly with glue and sprinkle with red glass glitter.
Glue to lower corner of card.
Card #2 how-to: Fold pink paper to create card. Draw a heart
on red paper, cut it out and glue to the center of the pink
paper. Cut a piece of slim polka dot ribbon and glue over the
heart, making sure to adhere ends of the ribbon to the card.
Card #3 how-to: Using a glue stick, cover the entire surface
of a shipping tag with glue. Lay a larger piece of herringbone
paper over the tag and press to adhere. (Run the edge of a
credit card over the surface to ensure smooth adhesion.) Trim
with scissors around the edge of the tag. Use a hole punch to
remove paper over the tag’s existing hole. Glue a heart-shape
embellishm ent to the lower center of tag; center a smaller
embellishment inside the larger one and glue in place.
Card #4 how-to: Pink the edges of a rectangle of blue paper
and a slightly larger rectangle of white paper. Center the blue
paper on the white and glue in place. Cut a heart shape out
of red paper; spread the shape evenly with glue and sprinkle
with red glass glitter. Let it dry and glue to the center of the
blue paper. Wrap a piece of pink gingham ribbon around the
card, knotting the ends in the center of the heart.
Card #5 how-to: See instructions for card #3, substituting pink
bandana paper for the herringbone. Cut two heart shapes out
of blue paper, one slightly smaller than the other. Glue the
smaller one on top of the larger one, then glue both to the
lower right corner of the card.
Card #6 how-to: See instructions for card #3, substituting
m ultistriped paper for the herringbone. Cut a sm all heart
shape from pink felt and glue to upper center of the tag.
Card #7 how -to: See instructions for card #3, substituting
pink and white striped paper for the herringbone. Cut a heart
out of red paper and glue to the tag. Glue a heart-shaped
button to the center of the red paper heart. Glue a vertical
row of pink rhinestones above and below the red heart.
Card #8 how -to: See instructions for card #3, substituting
pink gingham paper for the herringbone. Cut a heart out of
pink felt and glue to lower center of tag. Cut two thin pieces
of blue fe lt. Glue one piece across the top of the heart
from one edge of the tag to the other. Pink an edge of the
second piece, trim to the width of the bottom of the heart,
and glue in place.
